Should the brewing time of 5 consecutive deliveries be longer than optimal time
(
optinal T+20%
)
the machine alerts the operator that the grinding is too fine through the blinking of the LEDS nr. 3
and nr. 6 (pict. 1).
Alarm will disappear with a good coffee delivery (brewing time within the range T-20%÷T+20%).
OPTIMAL TIME SETTING
Optimal brewing time is automatically set during programming.
Program the machine as explained in the previous chapter "Digital Programming": use coffee quantity and ground coffee size as you prefere.
The obtained brewing time is to be considered as the optimal brewing time.
Perform this operation for the 4 coffee selections: 1 coffee, 2 coffees, 1 long coffee and 2 long coffees, as follows:
1
Fill the filter holder with the ground coffee quantity and size as you prefere.
2
Enter the programming mode and push selection key "1 espresso"(nr. 2).
3
Stop brewing when the quantity you want has been reached
4
The brewing time is stored as the optimal time.
5
If the brewing time (i.e. stored as optimal time) is now 20 sec., optimal range will be 16 ÷ 24 sec.
6
Repeat the operation for selection keys nr. 3,5,6.
Warning
Never program the machine without ground coffee in the filterholder, follow instruction as per point 1.
