The clogging indicator (pressure differential at the filter element) is only effective
while fluid flows through the filter.
The clogging indicator
provides information on the degree of contamination of the exchangeable
filter element,
provides indirect information on the degree of contamination of the
hydraulic fluid,
points at the following color ranges (see fig. 43):

NOTICE
Clogging indicator in the red range! Hydraulic fluid is not filtered!
Risk of damage of the hydraulic pump!
Stop the system immediately.
In case of serious contamination of hydraulic fluid/filter, flush all hydraulic
components used (pointer in the red range).
Use suitable flushing fluid.
If necessary, ask the Bosch Rexroth service or the hydraulic fluid suppliers.
