Checking the hydraulic supply
The WS290 training system is delivered as completely pre-assembled unit and
tested at the factory. However, defects or damage may occur at the WS290
training system during transportation.
So always check the following before commissioning the hydraulics:
The hose system for any damage;
The proper fitting of the hose coupling;
As to whether any components are damaged;
As to whether attachment parts are properly connected;
That the oil tank is filled.

Filling the oil tank
If you notice any deviations from the manufacturer's specifications, you have to
consult the Bosch Rexroth service or an authorized mineral oil supplier.
Prerequisites to be met for filling:
Ensure that the hydraulic power unit is switched off and that the mains plug is
pulled out.
Make sure that the hydraulic system is depressurized.
Provide a filter funnel (for new filling, re-filling or for oil exchange).
In this connection, filling by means of a filter filling pump is most suitable.
Provide suitable cleaning cloths.
NOTICE
Use of an inappropriate hydraulic fluid!
Danger of malfunctions and damage to the hydraulic system!
Do not use hydraulic fluid that is older than 1 year or that was stored outside.
Aging products or condensed water are possible.
Do not mix different hydraulic fluids. Even if they are of the same type,
different hydraulic fluids have a different age and can - if mixed - lead to
a deterioration of the hydraulic fluid.
Provide the specified hydraulic fluid in a sufficient quantity (see chapter
13.2 "Maintenance schedule").
