Set-up, installation and commissioning
Fig. 39:
Measuring glass for test set-up
Check the filling level of the hydraulic fluid and refill hydraulic fluid,
if necessary.
Close the pump circuit by:
–
Coupling the hose line at port "P" to the distributor (4)
–
Coupling the hose line at the couplings (2) to the measuring glass (1)
–
Opening the shut-off cock (3) at the measuring glass.
Operate the "ON" switch at the power unit.
Bring the 3-way ball valve in operating position:
–
= vertical position at the 3-way ball valve with depressurized circulation
(see chapter 7.4)
–
= horizontal position at the 3-way ball valve at the LS control block
(see chapter 7.5)
Approx. 3 seconds after start-up of the pump, the pump properly delivers the
hydraulic fluid through the measuring glass.
Particularly with cold oil, the measuring glass may overflow as the pump
delivers more oil than it can flow back into the oil tank via the hose (5).
Restoring the initial condition:
Bring the 3-way ball valve with depressurized circulation into "circulation
operation" (= horizontal position, see chapter 7.4 "P/T distributor with
"circulation circuit").
Bring the 3-way ball valve at the LS control block in rest position
(= vertical position, see chapter 7.5 "LS control block").
Operate the "OFF" switch at the power unit.
Decouple the hose line at the "P" port of the distributor and at the
measuring glass.
Store the hose line (e. g. in the installation container or the hose storage)
The hydraulic power unit is ready for operation.
The pump does not deliver hydraulic fluid to the measuring glass.
