Hydraulics training system WS290 | RE 00225-B/2.15
Maintenance works
Only remedy any wear if
–
the WS290 training system is located at a location safe for staff and
–
there is no risk for health (fall, slipperiness due to humidity, etc.).
Following the remedy of the wear and prior to commissioning, have checked
by a qualified specialist if
–
the work(s) was/were performed properly and
–
the WS290 training system is fully ready for operation.
13.2.3
Hydraulic oil maintenance
Residues of hydraulic fluid used have strong influence on the quality of the fresh
hydraulic fluid.
In general, the following activities have to be completed before filling the tank with
fresh hydraulic fluid:
Exchange of the filter insert and cleaning of the filter housing (for the
procedure refer to section "Exchanging the filter element").
Check for residues in the empty tank in case of:
–
Extreme contamination of the hydraulic fluid
–
Or if the clogging indicator had been in the "red" range for a longer period
of time.
An oil exchange is required if strong contamination is visible at the exiting
hydraulic fluid or in case of oil sludge.
In this case, inform the Bosch Rexroth service by all means.
13.2.4
Performing the oil exchange
Exchange the hydraulic fluid if
the condition deteriorates in an inadmissible form,
–
e.g. with an advanced stage of aging
–
in case of dark color
the clogging indicator is in the yellow or red range or
the exchange period for the hydraulic fluid has expired.
By means of pump-filter power unit
if a pump-filter power unit is available.
Or manually:
Drain the oil via the oil drain plug of the oil tank.
If required, clean the hydraulic power unit after removal of used hydraulic fluid.
Before the filling, screw in the oil drain plug with new seal!
General
Emptying the hydraulic reservoir:
