Events of category “Message” are only signaled and have no
effect on the servo-hydraulic actuator. These events are auto-
matically reset. Messages that are present only briefly are dis-
played for a certain, configurable minimum time (e.g. 5 s,
specific to the application at hand).
9.2.2
Event management
The warning and error events which are recognized by the servo-hydraulic
linear actuator can basically be divided into four groups:
●
Drive controller error (from firmware)
●
Drive controller warning (from firmware)
●
Application error (from application software)
●
Application warning (from application software)
The resulting diagnostic messages are indicated on the control panel of the
drive controller. For a functional description of the control panel, refer to the
relevant documentation.
Drive controller errors
If a drive controller error occurs, a diagnostic message "Fxxxx" is generated, fol-
lowed by a diagnostic text, and the drive motor is immediately switched to the
torque-free state. Within the software, this state is signaled with a message
code and the error output is set.
Drive controller warning
When a drive controller warning occurs, the diagnostic message "Exxxx" is gen-
erated, followed by a diagnostic text. The self-contained servo-hydraulic linear
axis keeps on working normally in this state. Within the software, this state is
signaled with a message code and the warning output is set (if configured).
Application error
If an application error occurs, diagnostic text number Dxxxx is generated - fol-
lowed by a diagnostic text, the self-contained servo-hydraulic linear axis is
immediately switched to the torque-free state and the digital error output is set
(if configured).
Application warning/message
If an application-specific warning or message occurs, the diagnostic message
“Bxxxx" is generated, followed by a diagnostic text. The system keeps on
working normally in this state. The digital warning or message output is set (if
configured). The warning or message output as well as the diagnostic message
are cleared after ca. 5 s, provided that the cause of warning or message is no
longer present.
9.3
Diagnostic messages of the application
All diagnostic messages that refer to technology functions are indicated via the
diagnostic code (P-0-1300) and the diagnostic text (P-0-1387).
The various diagnostic messages are subdivided into four categories, which are
an integral part of the relevant diagnostic code. Errors und warnings trigger
corresponding diagnostic messages in IndraDrive, whereas messages are diag-
nosed exclusively via the parameters of the technology function.
