bottom front of the dishwasher. Many parts can be accessed
from the front without flipping the dishwasher upside-down.
However, for best access, especially to the heat pump and float,
flip the dishwasher upside-down. The sump

is part of the
base and cannot be replaced.

Flipping dishwashers
Follow these instructions to flip dishwashers upside-down or on
their backs for bottom access.

To flip dishwasher for bottom access
Tools needed: T20 Torx, # 2 Phillips and flat blade screwdrivers.

Remove toe kick
– section 5.1.4.1.

Disconnect & pull out dishwasher
– section 5.1.4.2.
3. Remove all water from dishwasher sump and hoses.
4. Slide dishwasher out completely
(below left)

5. Remove both racks
(below center)
.
6. Place a pad or cardboard on the floor and carefully flip the
dishwasher upside-down or on it’s back
(below right)
