Battery
Avoid unintentional switching on. Ensure the On/Off
switch is in the off position before inserting battery
pack.
Carrying the power tool with your finger on the
On/Off switch or inserting the battery pack into power
tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
Do not open the battery.
Danger of short-circuiting.
Protect the battery against heat, e. g., against
continuous intense sunlight, fire, water, and mois-
ture.
Danger of explosion.
Do not short-circuit the battery.
There is danger of explo-
sion.
Battery leakage may occur under extreme usage or
temperature conditions. When a rechargeable battery
leaks, avoid contact with the skin or eyes.
The battery
liquid is caustic and could cause chemical burns to tissues.
If liquid comes in contact with skin, wash quickly with soap
and water, then with lemon juice or vinegar. If the liquid
contacts your eyes, flush them with water for a minimum of
10 minutes and seek medical attention.
Use only original Bosch batteries with the voltage list-
ed on the nameplate of your product.
When using other
batteries, e. g. imitations, reconditioned batteries or other
brands, there is danger of injury as well as property dam-
age through exploding batteries.

Intended Use
The power tool is intended for screwing in and loosening
bolts/screws, nuts and other threaded fasteners in the speci-
fied dimension and performance range.
This power tool is not intended for use as a drill; to avoid per-
sonal injury or damage to the tool, do not use any tool with a
shut-off clutch for drilling purposes.
The light of this power tool is intended to illuminate the power
tool’s direct area of working operation and is not suitable for
household room illumination.
Due to its slow left rotation speed, the power tool is intended
for operation with an open flat drive. It is suitable for screw
connections that are only accessible from one side, for exam-
ple, on pipework.
It is not suitable for loosening screw connections.
