tion for the entire machine. The expert
maintenance technician must always
work with caution in observance of ap-
plicable safety standards.

ü

During operation wear only the appar-
el and safety equipment indicated in
the User Instructions provided by the
Manufacturer or stipulated by legisla-
tion on safety at work.

ü

Replace worn components with origi-
nal spare parts. Use the lubricants
(oil and grease) recommended by the
Manufacturer.

ü

Do not dump polluting materials into
the environment. Dispose of all such
materials as stipulated by current leg-
islation.

ü

Do not clean the gear unit using a
high-pressure washer.

ü

All work must be performed exclusive-
ly with the gear unit at a standstill.

ü

The motor must be protected against
accidental startup (e.g. with a lockout

ü

Do not perform welding work on the
gear unit. The gear unit cannot be
used as an earthing post for welding
operations because this could dam-
age or destroy parts of the gear teeth
and bearings.

ü

The electric motor must be disconnect-
ed immediately if any alterations in the
normal operation of the gear unit are

einträchtigungen der Sicherheit und der
Gesundheit des Personals kommen.

ü

Das Getriebe nur für die vom Hersteller
vorgesehenen Zwecke einsetzen. Der
Einsatz zu regelwidrigen Zwecken kann
Risiken für die Sicherheit und die Gesund-
heit des Personals bedeuten und wirt-
schaftliche Einbußen nach sich ziehen.

Der vom Hersteller vorgese-

Wartung bedeutet Bestleistung, eine
lange Betriebsdauer und ein langes Er-
halten der Sicherheitseinrichtungen.

ü

Zur Durchführung von Wartungsarbeiten
in schwer zugänglichen oder gefährlichen
Bereichen müssen angebrachte Sicher-
heitsbedingungen für die Wartungsfach-
kraft und anderes Personal geschaffen
werden, die den geltenden Gesetzen zur
Arbeitssicherheit entsprechen.

ü

Wartungs-, Inspektions- und Repara-

Wartungspersonal durchgeführt wer-
den, das die etwaigen Gefahren kennt.
Es müssen daher an der kompletten
Maschine Vorgänge eingesetzt wer-
den, die in etwaigen Gefahrensituati-

ben. Das erfahrene Wartungspersonal
muss stets mit größter Vorsicht und
aufmerksam vorgehen und alle Sicher-
heitsnormen rigoros befolgen.

ü

Während der Betriebsphase nur Schutz-
kleidung und/oder Schutzvorrichtungen
einsetzen, die eventuell in der vom Her-
steller erstellten Bedienungsanleitung
angegeben werden, und diejenigen,
die von den geltenden Gesetzen zur
Arbeitssicherheit verlangt werden.

ü

Alle abgenutzten Teile durch Originaler-
satzteile austauschen. Die vom Hersteller
empfohlenen Öle und Fette einsetzen.

ü

Umweltgefährdende Materialien ge-
setzesgerecht entsorgen. Beachten
Sie bei der Entsorgung die geltenden
Abfallbeseitigungsgesetze.

ü

Die Reinigung mit einem Hochdruck-
gerät ist verboten.

ü

Jegliche Eingriffe dürfen nur bei stillste-
hendem Getriebe ausgeführt werden.

ü

Der Elektromotor muss gegen jede
unbeabsichtigte Einschaltung abge-
sichert werden (z.B. durch Schlüssel-
verriegelung des Hauptschalters oder
durch Entnahme der Sicherungen der
Stromversorgung). Zu diesem Zweck
ist an der Antriebsvorrichtung auch ein
Warnschild anzubringen, mit dem auf
die laufenden Arbeiten am Unterset-
zungsgetriebe hingewiesen wird.
