WORKING WIDTH (metres)
TRAY DISTANCE (metres)
4. Make sure the rotation of the discs are set for headland spreading.
5.
Spread in headland tramline with medium headland spreading settings
(see page 39)
.
6. Calculate the result
(see figure 2)
Add the contents of the three trays at the border and divide by 3 = A
Add the contents of the four trays in-field and divide by 4 = B
Divide A with B
If the test result is between 25% and 70% the spread pattern corresponds to the medium spreading.
Minimum /maximum spreading is achieved by changing the PTO speed with
±
50 rpm and change the quantity by
±
10% respectively.
NOTE:
It is essential that the trays are placed levelled in all directions.
For optimizing see page 65
Headland spreading
To border
The test will determine the quantity spread at the border compared to the quantity spread in-field.
By border spreading it is possible to change the working width ± 1 m by each ± 50 rpm.
1.
Place the test trays on the border and in the field
(see figure 1)
.
2.
The distance between the trays are dependent on the working width.
3. Find the correct distance in the below table.
Example
Test result:
Average content in-field B:
Tray distance
Average content at the border A:
