Example:
Setting the Flow-outlet in MAX position – the S-indicator value must be multiplied with a factor of 9,45.
(S-indicator value 3,333 Kg (3,333 x 9,45) = 31,50 Kg = Calibration value at MAX position)
The compensated calibration value must be entered corresponding to the position of the turnable hopper bottom.
NOTE: The calibration value must always correspond to the setting of the turnable hopper bottom. The position of
the turnable hopper bottom must be set manually by operator.
S-indicator value
The S-indicator is an easy and uncomplicated way to determine the STD Calibration value.
Please follow the instruction that comes with the S-indicator.
Please note that the fertiliser´s condition can vary each delivery. It is advised to carry out a new calibration for each
delivery/batch.
It is recommended to carry out three consecutive S-indicator tests and middle the sum with the number of tests into
an average value.
The sample must be representative and carefully selected from the middle / center of the bulk / bag.
Make sure that the S-indicator is vertical positioned and that the inner side of the tarpaulin / cone is absolutely
clean and dry.
● Fill the S-indicator with mineral fertiliser
● Open the shutter and close after precisely 30 seconds. The timing is essential.
● Weigh the fertiliser collected within an accuracy of +/- 50 gram.
It is recommended to repeat the process to verify the accuracy.
