CALIBRATOR ZURF button
MW-line, L20W with CALIBRATOR ZURF or ISOBUS, fully automatic calibration (FAC)
Note:
The display illustrations is based on the CALIBRATOR ZURF display. The ISOBUS display and the function -
ality is basic identical, but the layout and design might differ slightly.
MW-line spreaders and L20W equipped with weighing technique is fully automatically calibrated (FAC) during
spreading in the field. The system automatically adjusts the scale pointer and the shutters according to the request -
ed quantity,
To optimize the accuracy in quantity, when changing from one type of fertiliser to another, it is recommended to
enter the actual STD calibration value for the specific type of fertiliser. This procedure ensures the best possible
allocation and the full automatic calibration is activated after spreading only 25 kg.
Activation of fully automatic calibration
The fully automatic calibration is activated either by pushing and holding the calibration button for three seconds –
or by choosing “Full Auto Calib, FAC” at the Calibration MENU. FAC is predefined when turning on the
CALIBRATOR ZURF
(see figure 1)
.
When switched on the full automatic calibration is indicated by a flashing “W” icon in the display
(see figure 2)
.
The STD calibration value is considered as the set point value for every other setting in quantity and flow.
The CALIBRATOR ZURF, when set to control the actual spreader model – will automatically adjust the “Quantity
factor for Calibration value” when setting and entering the set point value based on the STD value.
