1. WARRANTY
DURATION AND LIMITATIONS
- Six-year warranty on the overall fi replace
- Two-year warranty on removable parts
- Two-year warranty on the fan and speed controller
- No warranty on glass, brickwork
AGREEMENT
Bodart & Gonay guarantees that its products comply with:
- Its catalogues and user manuals
- Operational safety standards
LIMITATIONS
Bodart & Gonay reserves the right to change its products, catalogues and user manuals independently,
at any time, and without prior notice.
The warranty will become null and void if the requirements and recommendations described in this
user manual are not complied with.
Service under warranty will only be done by a certifi ed dealer on presentation of the purchase
invoice.
New parts will only be delivered in exchange for the defective ones.
EXCLUSIONS
Accidents, damage, and malfunctions caused by:
- A mismatch between the nominal power of the product and the heating requirements of the room
- Incorrect installation or connections
- Destruction of the thermostat caused by overheating due to intensive use by:

Leaving the ash pan door open
•
Leaving the fan off
- Insuffi cient or excessive draught
- Abusive use
- Incompatible, destructive and/or damp fuel (treated wood, etc.)
- Consumption above set usage limits
- Insuffi cient maintenance
- The use of electrical or electronic components not certifi ed by Bodart & Gonay
- Any modifi cations or internal changes to the fi replace
- Transport and installation
Transport and packaging costs.
Any costs not approved in advance by Bodart & Gonay.
Any costs incurred because of non-use of the fi replace.
EFFECTIVE DATE
The warranty is effective as of the date on the invoice. The invoice is the only document recognised
for warranty purposes.
