3. GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
3.1. INSTALLATION
3.1.1 Fan dimensions
3.1.2 Outside combustion air intake
For combustion, the fi replace must be connected to an outside
air intake, that is, outside the room or in a ventilated air space. It
is also possible to draw air from the room. Special precautions
are required in this case (see installation manual).
Two air intakes are possible: at the back OR underneath
(see Fig. 2). Only use one of the two and block the second
one (on delivery, one will be plugged but you can change the
confi guration).
The connection is made with a 110 mm diameter PVC pipe. The
pipe can be up to 7 m long with one 90° elbow or 5 m long with
three 90° elbows.
3.2. FUEL
This fi replace uses (very dry! with no paint or varnish) wood logs or logs made of pressed wood
