7. FAN KIT (optional)
The kit consists of several parts and of the wiring needed to connect them:
The fan
pumps air between the combustion chamber and the cabinet to recover a maximum
amount of heat to increase the yield and power of the fi replace.
The speed controller
is used to vary fan output as needed.
All installation and maintenance work on the fan and controller
must be done with the power disconnected.
7.1. FAN PLACEMENT
Bring the fl exible power cable opposite the opening provided in the fi replace for this purpose. Allow
for enough cable length to make the connection and for ease of work later.
Installing the fan from below:
Fit the fan (condenser, white cylinder, toward the front)
through the bottom opening so that the platform sits on the
bottom of the cabinet.
Position the fan using the silent blocks in the fi ve housings
provided for this purpose.
Carefully check the wiring path.

Installing the fan from the inside:
- The fan can be installed from the inside of the fi replace. To do so, fi rst remove the fl oor bricks and
the air distributors.
- Then unscrew the left back plate as illustrated below:
