Scrap the unit at the end of its service life as follows:
- the refrigerant must be recovered by qualified personnel and consigned to an authorised collection centre for
disposal;
- the compressor lubricant must be recovered and consigned to an authorised collection centre for disposal;
- the frame and other parts of no further use must be dismantled and sorted by type; this applies in particular to
the copper and aluminium parts of the unit.
This will facilitate recovery and recycling of the materials for minimal environmental impact.
