Monitoring the Status of the Remote System
To monitor the status of the remote system:
•
From the System menu, choose
Remote System Status
.
The Remote System Status screen (
Figure 4-7
) is displayed. The fields in this
screen have the same meaning as those in the Local System Status screen,
described in
Table 4-1
.

Monitoring the Physical Ports
You can monitor the following aspects of the physical ports on the MT1000A:

Management port status
•
Up-link status
•
Channel status.
To monitor the physical ports:
1. From the Monitoring menu (
Figure 4-4
), choose
Physical Port Monitoring
.
The Physical Port Monitoring menu (
