Double tap on the
Minimum length
seletion to display a numeric
keypad to enter the minimum length.
The
minimum runway length will be rounded to the nearest hundred feet.
Double tap on the
Reguired surface
selection to select the type of
surface for the airports you want to filter.
Any
or
Hard Only
can be selected for the required runway surface.
Tap the
DONE
soft key to accept the changes.
Only airports that match the filter conditions will now show in the
Nearest Airports window.
When the user has selected (highlighted) the nearest point in the
desired destination list, the user taps the
soft key. The system
sets a new course from the aircraft’s present position directly to the
desired nearest point’s position and shows the new Direct-To course
on the map.
