Making Calls
Muting
Pressing the muting key
deactivates the microphone during
a call, and the person at the other end of the line can no longer
hear you. Press the key again to switch the microphone back on.
Call-charge Display, Duration Display
If your network operator transmits call charge information, and if
you have dialled an external number yourself, you will see the cur-
rent amount of the charge in the Info line during or at the end of a
call. The menu item
Charge settings
in the
Phone settings
MenuCard lets you deactivate this or switch to the duration dis-
play.
Adjusting the Volume with the Plus/
Minus Key
Use the plus/minus key
to adjust the volume of the loud-
speaker in open-listening/hands-free mode or the volume of the
handset during a call via the handset, or the volume of the ringer
tone when you receive a call.
Note:
When the telephone is in its idle state again, it reverts to
the default menu setting.
Redialling
Pressing the redial key
displays a MenuCard containing the
last ten numbers dialled (with the most recent entry at the top). If
a telephone number is also stored in your system’s telephone
book/name directory, you will see the name as well.
Select the entry (phone number or name).
If you now press the
button, the phone book will open (see
explanation further below).
If you picked up the receiver before calling up the redial list, the
phone number will now be dialled automatically.
