5.18 Software update for the control panel

Follow the order for control panel and control when performing
the software updates:

1. Perform the update for the control panel.
2. Perform the update for the control.

A software update requires a USB key.
When a new software version is available, it can be downloaded at
www.duerkopp-adler.com and be uploaded from a USB key. It is recom-
mended to use a USB key that is compatible and was purchased from
Dürkopp Adler. All settings on the machine are retained.

Information

To secure your data, we recommend:

• Saving your program data and creating a backup before performing

the software update (

).

• Use a blank USB key to download the new version.

To perform a software update:

1. Download the latest/desired software version from Dürkopp Adler's

website.

2. Save the software version to a USB key.
3. Plug the USB key into the port on the control panel.

4. Press the symbol

to bring up the navigation pane.



This opens the navigation user interface.

This process requires that the user be logged in as a
