Sample Processing*
The DxC Integrated Workstation Sample Processing diagram identifies some of the
system components used during sample processing. Use the diagram as a reference.

A sample is placed in an appropriate sample rack and loaded on the UCTA load
tray (1)
The UCTA RUN button (2) is pressed to initiate sample processing.
Racks are delivered to the UCTA shuttle
The UCTA shuttle transfers racks to the bar code reader (3) for sample
programming information
The UCTA shuttle delivers racks to the UCTA sample carousel (4)
