Loosen the nut to adjust the length of the
spring.

A 45.0 mm (1.772 in)
Lock it with the nut.
Adjustment of Parking Brake
Danger Danger
If the brake wire is cut, the machine will be
unable to stop. This would be extremely
dangerous.
If the brake wire is cracked or damaged,
replace it with a new one immediately.
If the parking brake is not sufficiently effective
when you pull the parking brake lever, adjust
the brake wire.
Adjust the parking brake by tightening the brake
wire adjustment bolt.

Follow the steps below to make adjustments.
Turn "ON" the reel rotation switch.

Loosen the locknut on the side of the reel
rotation switch to adjust the length of the
bolt.
Length of the bolt (A) (Longer) : Slower
Length of the bolt (A) (Shorter) : Faster
Once the adjustment has completed, be sure
to lock with the nut.
