13. SERVICING
About this chapter
This chapter contains general servicing procedures like lamp replacement, dust fi lter replacement etc. Note that some of these
procedures may only be performed by quali fi ed technical service personnel. These procedure are marked with a warning.

AUTION
:
When opening one of the shell covers (colored in next drawing) of the projection head of the
DML while power is supplied, the movement (pan and tilt) of the head will be blocked by the software.

Overview
• Removal of the front cover
• Opening the top cover on the lamp units side
• Opening the top cover on the LPS box side
• Remove the yoke covers and shields
• Remove top cover of base unit
• Replacement of the dust fi lters on the front side
• Replacement of the dust fi lter at the inside of the head
• Replacement of the dust fi lter in the base
• Removal of a lamp unit
• Mounting a new lamp unit
• Top-up the reservoir with cooling liquid

AUTION
:
All HEPA fi lters of the DML-1200 must be replaced on a regular basis, depending on the environ-
ment conditions of the device.
