Calibration
5. Wat untl the Measured readng stablzes,
and then press
ENT
to calbrate the TS-Zero
Measured value to that of the Appled value;
after whch the message “Good Calbraton”
should brefly appear followed by the
CALIBRATE TS-SPAN screen.
TS-Span Procedure:
6. Set thermocouple smulator to 572 °F
(300 °C), and then use the and but-
tons to enter an Appled value that exactly
equals the settng of the smulator.
Alternatively:
Submerge probe tp nto a con-
taner of bolng water wth a thermometer,
wat several mnutes, and then use the
and buttons to enter an Appled value
that exactly equals the thermometer readng.
The calibration range is from 175 to 625 °F
(80 to 330 °C). An attempt to calibrate outside this range will cause
the message “Bad Calibration Wrong CAL Entry” to appear in the fol-
lowing step.
