6.6 Thermocouple Replacement
Usng the approprate thermocouple replacement kt lsted below, replace
the probe’s thermocouple as follows:

Each kt contans a thermocouple assembly, two O-rngs, and two wre-
splce connectors.
Tools Required:
• Small Flat Blade Screwdrver
• Wre Cutter
• Wre Strpper
• Slp Jont Plers
Procedure:
1. Gan access to the thermocouple connectons by frst removng three
screws from probe handle, and then separatng the two handle peces.
2. Cut wres attached to old crmp connectors, leavng behnd as much of
the probe’s thermocouple-connector wre as possble.
