Operation
4.12 Data Logging
When the loggng functon s actvated, up to 500 combuston test records
wll be automatcally stored n memory at a preset nterval (1, 5, 10, 15,
30 seconds, 1, 2, 5, 10 mnutes) over a predetermned duraton (5, 10, 15,
30 mnutes, 1, 2, 5, 10, 24, 48 hours).
The maxmum duraton that data can be collected s determned by the n-
terval. For example, f the nterval s set to 10 seconds, then the maxmum
selectable length of tme n whch data can be collected to fll 500 memory
locatons would be 1 hour (500 x 10 seconds = 5000 seconds or 83 mnutes).
If the operator chooses a duraton that s longer than possble for the nter-
val chosen, then the analyzer automatcally selects the hghest duraton
possble for the selected nterval.
The stored logged data can ether be vewed on the dsplay usng the ana-
lyzer’s memory functon (refer to Secton 4.13), or downloaded to a personal
computer usng the suppled PCA 2 data recovery software and USB cable
(refer to Secton 4.14). Downloaded data s stored on the computer’s hard
drve as a comma-separated-value ASCII text fle wth a CSV extenson,
whch can be opened by most spreadsheet programs for analyss.

The latest PCA 2 data recovery software can be download-
