3. Pull old thermocouple from probe body and dscard.
4. The new thermocouple has been coled for shppng purposes.
Straghten the thermocouple usng your thumb and ndex fnger.
5. If not already done, nstall suppled O-Rngs onto thermocouple.
6. Insert thermocouple nto probe body untl t “bottoms out.”

IMPORTANT:
In Step 8, the thermocouple wires must first be
twisted together and then crimped.

Twist
both red thermocouple wres together; nsert them nto the sup-
pled wre-splce connector; and then crmp the connector usng a par
of plers. Repeat ths step for the yellow thermocouple wres.
9. Reassemble the probe handle, beng careful not to pnch the thermo-
couple wres between the handle peces. In addton, ensure that the
end of the thermocouple s n front of the rb molded nto the bottom
handle pece; otherwse, the handle peces wll not ft tghtly together.
