Initial Setup
3.9 Date Setup
The date s stored n the format: MM/DD/YY. Its
value s part of the date and tme stamp that s
saved along wth each combuston test record.
Set the analyzer’s nternal clock to the current
date as follows:
1. Dsplay the MAIN MENU by pressng the
MENU (F2)
button. If necessary, press
ESC
untl MENU appears above

2. Use the buttons to hghlght SETUP,
and then press
ENT
to dsplay the SETUP
MENU.
3. Use the buttons to hghlght DATE, and
then press
ENT
to dsplay the DATE MENU.
4. Frst use the buttons to move the cursor
across the screen untl t s over the dgt to
be changed, and then press the buttons
untl the desred value s dsplayed.
5. Repeat Step 4 untl the values for month, day,
and year have been set.
6. Press
ENT
to save the dsplayed date values
and re-dsplay the SETUP MENU, or press
ESC
to abort ths procedure and retan the
old date values.
Note: The Date and Time real time clock is powered by the main bat-
teries and is maintained by a supercap on the Main PCB for approxi-
mately 1-2 days in the absence of batteries. The supercap is intended
to maintain the real time clock when the batteries are changed when
exhausted. If the batteries are removed for extended periods of time
such as when the PCA2 is not in use (off-season storage), simply reset
the time and date after fresh batteries are installed when it is placed
back in service.
