14. NUVINCI® SHIFTING SYSTEM
The Babboe Mountain not only has a strong Yamaha center motor (bottom bracket motor), but is has also the
NuVinci stepless shifting system. This combination Stepless shifting – as simple as adjusting the volume on
a radio. The revolutionary NuVinci Optimized transmission provides a perfectly relaxed ride and a smooth,
stepless progression from one ratio to another, literally with a twist of the wrist. NuVinci® technology means:
Concentrating less on operating the bike and more on what‘s important! For example, the traffic or the kids in
front of you.
The continuously variable planetary transmission forms the foundation of the revolutionary NuVinci technology,
which can be adapted easily to meet your individual cycling needs. Whether you‘re waiting at a stoplight or
straining against a headwind, with NuVinci Optimized components, you‘ll always find the ideal gear ratio.
You can change the gear ratio between your pedals and rear wheel in one continuous motion. Just twist the
controller slightly on the handlebar and the gear ratio is changed to any ratio within its range. This is easy to do,
no matter if you are freewheeling, pedaling under load or waiting at a trafficlight.
Using the NuVinci shifiting system
The smart NuVinci stepless shifting system makes gear shifting easier than ever. You can peddle while shifting
gears. It is a light-weight and durable drivetrain that shifts smoothly and seamlessly across the full ratio range
without steps or gaps. Ratio changes occur within the hub, smoothly and easily via internals that are sealed for
life and maintenance-free.
The shifter
Controlling the ratio of the N360 is simply a matter of rotating the shifter grip.
The shifter display indicates ratio as a simple graphic; a hill for slower speeds
and a flat for faster speeds. Since there are no fixed gears, the exact ratio
is determined by your comfort level. Ratio changes can be made even while
pedaling under high torque.

Actie
(Bagagedragertype) (Onderbuistype) (Type multi locatie)
Er is een fout
met de polen
opgetreden.
Verwijder de accu uit de
accu-oplader, plaats de
accu op de fiets en druk op
de aan/uit-schakelaar van
de weergave-eenheid.
Wanneer de oplaadstekker
weer in de accu wordt
geplaatst, en de indicator
accuvermogen-lampen nog
steeds gelijktijdig
knipperen, duidt dit
mogelijk op een defect in
de accu-oplader.
Is de
laadconnector
op de accu nat?
Reinig de laadconnector en
de oplaadstekker. Wrijf ze
daarna droog. Sluit de
oplaadstekker daarna aan
op de laadconnector.
De indicator accuvermogen-lampen aan
beide zijden knipperen gelijktijdig.
De
accubeschermingsfunctie
is ingeschakeld en het
systeem kan niet worden
gebruikt. Vervang de accu
zo snel mogelijk bij een
erkende dealer.
(Bagagedragertype) (Onderbuistype) (Type multi locatie)
De accu-oplader geeft abnormale geluiden,
vieze geuren of rook af.
Trek de oplaadstekker uit
en stop onmiddellijk het
gebruik.
Laat uw fiets inspecteren
door een erkende dealer.
De accu-oplader wordt heet.
Het is normaal
dat de accu-
oplader een
beetje warm
wordt tijdens het
opladen.
Als de accu-oplader te
warm is om aan te raken,
trek de stekker van de
oplader er dan uit, wacht
tot deze is afgekoeld, en
neem contact op met een
erkende dealer.
Na het opladen zullen alle indicatorlampjes
accuvermogen niet branden wanneer de
indicatorknop accuvermogen „ ” wordt
ingedrukt.
Is de
oplaadstekker
losgekoppeld,
of is de accu
verwijderd
tijdens het
opladen?
Laad de accu nogmaals op.
Bent u
begonnen met
opladen toen de
accu warm was,
zoals vlak na
gebruik?
Verplaats de accu naar een
locatie waar de
accutemperatuur de
temperatuur bereikt waarbij
opladen mogelijk is (15–25
°C) en start het opladen
opnieuw.

is pressed.
Has the charger plug
been unplugged or
the battery pack
removed during
charging?
Charge the battery pack again.
Did you start
charging with the
battery pack at a
high temperature,
such as immediately
after use?
Move to a location where the
battery temperature can reach
the range where charging is
possible (15–25 °C), and then
start charging again.
After disconnecting the charging plug on the
battery charger from the battery pack, the
battery capacity indicator lamps continue to
light up.
Is the charging
connector on the
battery pack wet?
Clean the charging connector and
charging plug. Then dry them.
