BABBOE MINI MOUNTAIN & CITY MOUNTAIN
Cycling
Cycling on a two-wheel cargo bike is much like cycling on an ordinary bike. The steering is pretty much the same except
your front wheel is located farther away from you compared to a normal bike. While cycling look in front of you, don’t
look at the front wheel.
Bike stand
To put the Babboe Mini/ City Mountain on the stand, go to the left of the steering wheel next to the bike. Turn the
steering wheel away from you to create space for your body and make sure you are standing close to the steering
wheel/the stand. Put your foot on the part of the stand that sticks out and pull the cargo bike towards you while
holding the steering wheel with both hands. The Babboe cargo bike is now firmly on the stand so that kids can
get in and out.
To take the Babboe Mini/ City Mountain off the stand, hold the steering wheel with both hands and push your
Babboe cargo bike forward so that the stand folds up. The stands then stays in this position while cycling.
Adjustable handlebar
It is possible to adjust the height and the angle of the handlebar. Loosen the handlebar stem and place the handlebar
in the desired position. Be careful not to pull the handlebar out too far. Pay attention to the marked indent on the
handlebar stem that determines the maximum allowable position. When the handlebar is in the correct position,
tighten the handlebar stem.
Lighting
The Babboe Mini/ City Mountain comes with both front and rear lighting. The head lamp is at the front. The back
light is always mounted on the support under the saddle, unless you have purchased the optional rear carrier.
In that case, the back light is mounted on the carrier.
BABBOE CURVE MOUNTAIN
Cycling
Cycling on a three-wheel cargo bike takes some getting used to, since the steering motion is different from a
regular bike. The handlebar is fixed to the box and you actually steer from left to right and vice versa with the
box. Always remain quietly seated in an upright position, even when turning corners. In very sharp turns you can
let go of the outside handlebar to prevent hanging to one side. Keep this hand in the vicinity of the brakes,
so you can brake immediately if necessary. For more information please refer to our website.
Parking Brake
The parking brake is located on the left brake lever. In order to engage the cargo bike’s parking brake, first pull
the left brake lever. Then slide the small metal crank/button to the left to set the parking brake. Now release the
brake lever, so that the brake is secured. The cargo bike’s parking brake is now engaged.
Adjustable handlebar
It is possible to adjust the height and the angle of the handlebar. Loosen the handlebar stem and place the
handlebar in the desired position. Be careful not to pull the handlebar out too far. Pay attention to the marked
indent on the handlebar stem that determines the maximum allowable position. When the handlebar is in the
correct position, tighten the handlebar stem.
Lighting
The Babboe Curve Mountain comes with both front and rear lighting. The lighting is powered by the battery
located under the bench and can be operated via the handle bars. The front has two lamps which are attached
under the steps on the front side. The back light is always mounted on the support under the saddle, unless you
have purchased the optional rear carrier. In that case, the back light is mounted on the carrier.
