The cameras must be connected and power-supplied before the DVR is turned on. Connect
the camera with the indicated power supply, and connect the camera video output to the
DVR video input port with a coaxial cable, or a RCA cable with BNC connectors (The DVR will
automatically detect the video system of the camera).

Power

2) Connecting video cable
Connect the camera video output to the DVR video input port with a coaxial cable, or a
RCA cable with BNC connectors.
3) Connecting RS485-A & RS485-B control wires
Solder the RS485-A (brown) and RS485-B (orange) wires of the PTZ camera to the
corresponding pins on the solder side of the 15 PIN D-Sub connector (see the figure below).
For the PTZ camera supporting DCC (DVR Camera Communication) technology, there’s
no need to connect RS485 control wires. For details, please refer to “3.3.3. DCC Camera”
at page 14.
