1) SERIAL TYPE
Here shows the serial type of the DVR (RS-485).
2) BAUD RATE
For connecting the DVR to an external control device, such as the keyboard controller, set
the baud rate of the DVR (
2400 / 9600 / 19200 / 38400 / 57600 / 115200 ).
Please make sure the baud rate set here is consistent with the one set in the external
control device itself. For details, please refer to the user manual of your external control
device.
If you’re not connecting your DVR to an external control device, just skip this function.
3) HOST ID
For connecting the DVR to an external control device, such as the keyboard controller, set
the ID of the DVR (0 ~ 254).
Please make sure the ID set here is consistent with the one set in the external control
device itself. For details, please refer to the user manual of your external control device.
If you’re not connecting your DVR to an external control device, just skip this function.
4) PASSWORD
Press “ENTER” to enter the submenu to set the password (four digits). The default
administrator password is 0000.
5) RESET DEFAULT
Press “ENTER” to reset all settings as default, and select YES to confirm or NO to cancel
when you’re prompted to confirm again.
6) CLEAR HDD
Select the HDD you want to clear. Press “ENTER”, and select YES to confirm or NO to cancel
when you’re prompted to confirm again.
7) UPGRADE (For upgrading firmware / OSD)
Press “ENTER” and, select YES to confirm or NO to cancel when you’re prompted to confirm
again.
Before upgrade, make sure:
1. Your USB flash drive is compatible with the DVR. For the list of compatible USB flash
drives, please refer to “XXX” at page XX.
2. Format your USB flash drive as FAT32.
3. Save the upgrade files in your USB flash drive, and insert it into the USB port at the
front panel.
Do not disconnect the power of the DVR while the upgrade process is in progress, or the
DVR functions may not work properly or be unable to use.
8) GUARD DELAY (MIN)
Set the time-out in minutes after which the 3G alarm surveillance is activated after pressing
“GUARD” (
01 / 03 / 05 / 10 / 20 ). The default value is 05 .
When “GUARD” is pressed, you will see on the screen, and then after the preset
timeout is reached.
9) AUTO KEYLOCK (SEC)
Set the time-out in seconds after which the key lock function is activated ( NEVER / 30 / 60 /
120 ).
The default value is 30 .
10) LANGUAGE
Select the language of the OSD.
The supported OSD languages may vary and depends on your DVR model.
