Message settings

In the Settings menu it is possible to set messaging options on or off.

•

Overwrite old

: If this option is set to ‘On’ with the left softkey, then the oldest messages is

overwritten if the maximum number of messages is reached. The maximum number of

messages that can be stored in drafts, inbox, and sent messages is 250. If the number of 250

messages is exceeded, and the option is set to ‘Off’ then no new messages can be received

before deleting some old messages manually.

•

Sent Messages

: If this function is set to ‘On’ then the sent messages will be saved, whereas

the sent messages will not be saved if it is set to ‘Off’.

•

Display

: This function controls if the content of new messages is displayed in idle when they

are received, or if it is just displayed that a new message has been received. Below, it is

displayed how the two settings are displayed in idle when a new message is received.
