– Remove the bolts -arrows- and the ATF lines.
– Seal the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the
Engine Bung Set - VAS6122- .
– Seal the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the
Engine Bung Set - VAS6122- .
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. At the same time pay attention
to the following:
Caution
Danger of causing damage to the transmission.
♦ Remove all the plugs on the ATF lines and on the trans‐
mission that were installed during removal.
♦ The ATF cooling function will not work and the transmis‐
sion will be damaged if the plugs are forgotten.
– Lightly coat the ATF supports with ATF.
– Insert the ATF line -1- all the way on the ATF supports until
the catches are released.
– In this position push down the quick-release coupling clip.
– Re-tighten the bolts -arrows- to the tightening specification.
