– Turn the locking ring all the way in direction of -arrow-.
• It must be possible to turn the locking ring; press the handle
-2- on again if necessary.
• The markings -a and b- are above one another.

If the locking ring was turned, then the handle is properly
locked. Only then may the locking button be pressed on the
handle.
♦
The locking button may have an increased resistance to pres‐
sure when it is pushed the first time after installing the handle.
– Press the locking button -1- in the selector lever handle.
– Fold the boot downward and attach it.
– Pull the selector lever boot downward and attach it to the Mul‐
timedia System Control Head - E380- .

Procedure
• The locking button -1- projects out in its installation position in
the handle.
If the locking button was pressed in, then it must be brought back
to it installation position so that the handle can be installed.
