Enable Input TS 1 as Internal Channel1. In the more section let the delay at 40ms.
Enable Input TS 2 as ASI SYNC input. In the more section let the delay at 0ms.
Configure the output bitrate with at least the sum of the program 101,201 and 301
Encoder 4 channel and modulator
Don't activate the channel ASI output. Enable the DVB output and configure a symbol rate/modulation/FEC combi-
nation to handle the sum of the 4 SPTS plus a slight 1% overhead.
Warning
The modulator output is not decoupled from a an encoding channel. When the modulator is enabled
you can't configure The TS channel output bitrate as it is computed from a symbol rate/modulation/FEC
combination. That is why in this use case we enforce the video ES bitrate instead of configuring the TS
channel output bitrate and letting the video ES bitrate to auto.
This combination must be chosen to handle the sum of the 4 SPTS bitrate.
Encoder 4 Remuxer
Enable the remuxer and the ASI output.
Enable Input TS 1 as Internal Channel1. In the more section let the delay at 60ms.
Enable Input TS 2 as ASI SYNC input. In the more section let the delay at 0ms.
Configure the output bitrate with at least the sum of the four programs.
Note
On the web GUI status page you may be confused in that the DVB output appears under the Channel
status's output. In fact as we feed the modulator ASI input with the remuxer ASI output, the modulated
TS is the remuxer's. The channel's TS bitrate is not displayed on the status page.
Example:
Configure encoder 1 channel 1 ES and output: 22.059 Mbps TS (video 20 Mbps + 1 MPEG Layer 2 256 kbps).
Configure encoder 2 channel 1 ES and output: 22.059 Mbps TS (video 20 Mbps + 1 MPEG Layer 2 256 kbps).
Configure encoder 2 remuxer output: MPTS of program 101 and 201 at 45 Mbps.
Configure encoder 3 channel 1 ES and output: 22.059 Mbps TS (video 20 Mbps + 1 MPEG Layer 2 256 kbps).
Configure encoder 3 remuxer output: MPTS of program 101, 201, 301 at 68 Mbps.
Configure encoder 4 channel 1 ES: 22.059 Mbps (video 20 Mbps + 1 MPEG Layer 2 256 kbps).
Configure encoder 4 remuxer output: MPTS of 4 programs at 90 Mbps.
Configure encoder 4 channel 1 modulator: DVB-S2 16APSK FEC8/9 symbol rate of 27.5 MBd at 96.7 Mbps.
