4. Remove Locking Knob from one of the Media
Guides on the Top Printer.
5. Screw the Locking Knob into the center hole in the
Rear Transport Bracket
[B] .
6. With the Print Engine pushed all the way into the
cabinet, turn the Knob clockwise in small
increments to push the Print Engine toward the
Operator Side.
7. Open the Duplex Toolbox. From the “Print” drop-down menu,
select “Print Setup Page” . Once that prints, check alignment of
front and back pages. Turn Knob to adjust Bottom Unit Print
Engine position. Continue printing
Setup Pages after each
adjustment until front and back pages align. Once page is
properly aligned, tighten the two Latch mounting screws. Both
Printers' media paths should now be aligned, any fine tuning
adjustments can be made in the
Toolbox or Printer Driver .
8. Reinstall Locking Knob on Top Printer.
Reinstall Non-operator side Cover.
