For deployments where there is expected to be considerable delay between the
switch and the Access Points, it is recommended to enable the “local probe response”
feature. This can be done by accessing the CLI of the switch (using the console connec-
tion or by performing a Telnet/SSH into the switch) and using the following com-
mands:
(Aruba2400) (config) # ap location 0.0.0
(Aruba2400) (sap-config location 0.0.0) # local-probe-response enable
(Aruba2400) (sap-config location 0.0.0) #
