To configure the Fake AP detection, select the Fake AP tab on the
Configuration > WLAN
Intrusion Detection > Denial of Service
page.
The table below summarizes the meaning of each of the fields in this section.
3. Channel/node Quiet time
After an alarm has been triggered, specifies the
amount of time that must elapse before another
identical alarm may be triggered. This option
prevents excessive messages in the log file.

1. Enable Fake AP Flood
Detection
Enables or disables the feature
2. Flood Inc Time (secs)
The time period in which a configured
number of FakeAP beacons must be
received.
3. Flood Threshold
The number of FakeAP beacons that
must be received within the Flood Inc
Time in order to trigger an alarm.
4. Quiet Time (secs)
After an alarm has been triggered, the
amount of time that must pass before
another identical alarm may be triggered.
