the browser. Failure to do this will result in the loss of configuration and the user
will have to reconfigure the settings.
7 To save the configuration, click the Save Configuration tab on the upper right
hand corner of the screen.
Authentication Servers
RADIUS Server Configuration
To add a new RADIUS server entry:
1 The values to the following parameters are required. A good habit would be to
collect this information for every RADIUS server that needs to be configured
prior to configuration. Individual values can be re-configured and applied in
case of errors and changes at any time.
2 Navigate to
Configuration > AAA Servers > RADIUS
page.
3 Configure the RADIUS settings.
Parameter Description Value in the Example
Server Name < The name of the Authentication Server > Radius_Server_1
IP Address < The address of the authentication server> 192.168.100.1
Shared Secret <The shared secret between the switch and
the auth server> Aruba
Authentication Port <The authentication port on the server.
Default 1812 > 1812 (default maintained)
Accounting Port <The accounting port on the server. Default
1813> 1813 (default maintained)
Num of Retries <Maximum number of retries sent to the
server by the switch before the server is
marked as down. Default 3> 3 (default maintained)
Timeout <The maximum time in seconds, the switch
waits before timing out the request and re-
sending it. Default 5 seconds > 5 (default maintained)
