During counter rotation, the patient’s torso and legs
rotate in opposing directions. This helps provide additional support to the patient’s torso, increasing
comfort and keeping patient centered on the mattress.

Return foot section of litter surface to original position.
6.
Cancel CPR.
7.
Reactivate unit functions as prescribed.
Power-Down Procedures
Power-Down for Storage
1.
Adjust height of patient surface to lowest position.
2.
Unplug power cord from wall outlet. The display
shown at right will appear.
Wrap power cord around head board when
transporting or moving unit.
3.
Press
Cancel
button to deactivate battery back-up power
and allow for unit storage.
When in storage, unit must be plugged into wall outlet to maintain battery charge.
Power-Down for Maintenance
1.
Press
On / Off
button located on footboard display membrane switch to Off.
2.
Unplug power cord from wall outlet.
Transport Mode
display will appear on main control panel.
3.
Press
Cancel
button to deactivate battery back-up power and allow for unit maintenance.
4.
Deactivate inverter / charger:
• Remove four phillips-head screws that secure tray top cover to metal tray.
• Kneel on patient left side of unit and lift cover slightly. Reach in under cover to find inverter / charger
switch.
The inverter / charger switch is a toggle type button located in the middle of the right side of inverter /
charger. The head end of switch is the off position.
5.
Reactivate inverter / charger and plug power cord into wall outlet to restore power after maintenance.
