Patient Transfer from TriaDyne Proventa Critical Care Therapy System
1.
Level patient surface.
2.
Press
Instaflate On / Off
button to create a firm surface for patient transfer.
3.
Adjust height of patient surface to same level as surface to which patient is being transferred.
4.
Ensure brakes on both surfaces are locked.
5.
Lower side rails.
6.
Remove arm pack strap from across patient’s torso, if applicable.
7.
Transfer patient, following all applicable safety rules and institution protocols.
8.
Press
Instaflate On / Off
button to deactivate
Instaflate
function and return cushions to previous air
pressure settings.
Refer to the
Power-Down Procedures
section in the
Operating Instructions
chapter of this manual
if patient will not be returning to the unit.
Patient Transport
1.
Place patient’s IV therapy onto telescoping infusion holder. Additional IV poles may be placed into sockets
located on all four corners of litter surface.
2.
Verify side rails are raised and locked.
3.
Unlock brakes.
4.
If appropriate, activate
Instaflate
function.
Warmer, scale and the bed exit alarm will be deactivated during transport mode. Only the Instaflate
function is available if activated before the unit is unplugged.
5.
Unplug power cord from wall outlet. The display
shown at right will appear on the main control panel.
Wrap power cord around headboard.
• A low beep (from the inverter / charger) will sound
when the unit is unplugged and will sound again
every minute until battery back-up is cancelled.
• Approximate time remaining for reserve power will count down in display. Each bar in the display equals
approximately 30 minutes.
• The batteries will provide static air support for approximately 120 minutes (two hours).
