Two-hour support is provided only if the batteries are fully charged. Use of unit functions (raise / lower
back, foot, bed, etc.) will decrease reserve power more rapidly than static air support.

Transport patient, following all applicable safety rules and institution protocols.
If the unit is unplugged with air off and the display on for more than an hour, the unit will
automatically shut off to conserve battery power. To restart the unit, plug the power cord into a wall
outlet.
Plug power cord into wall outlet immediately if
the display shown at right appears and flashes.
Less than ten minutes of reserve power is left. It
will take approximately two hours to recharge the
battery fully. A protection circuit helps protect the
battery from overcharging.

Plug power cord into wall outlet to end transport mode when destination is reached.
Patient Positioning
The following functions have been built into the
TriaDyne Proventa
Critical Care Therapy System to
accommodate numerous clinical positioning requirements. Most functions can be activated from either the
foot of the unit frame or from the side rails.
Prior to activating any turning function, Trendelenburg or Reverse Trendelenburg, assess the security
of all invasive lines and tubes to accommodate the desired angle of articulation and minimize the risk
of binding, disconnecting or dislodging. Tubes and lines should always have slack for articulation and
patient movement.
