button shown at right.
• The message shown at right will appear in the
Nurse
display panel.
• The
Scale
menu will appear on the main control
panel.
• Rotation, pulsation and percussion will be
deactivated.

To cancel scale,
either
:
• Press
Scale
button again;
or
• Press
Exit
button on the main control panel.
If Rotation was on before scale was activated, five
beeps will sound and the message shown at right
will appear in the
Nurse
display panel. Pulsation
will be restored. Percussion
will not
be restored.
Reactivate percussion from the
Home
menu.
Additional Nurse Display Panel Messages
When standing at the side of the unit, the caregiver views status messages in the
Nurse
display panel
(located on the head end of the footboard). These messages are a result of actions taken not only at the side
rail nurse control panel, but at other points of interface on the unit as well. Messages not yet discussed in this
chapter, and their causes are listed below:
•
On / Off
button on the main control panel has
been pressed to off.
• Rotation is not activated.
• Button for
Head Deflate
on the
Home
menu of
the main control panel has been pressed.
• Power cord has been unplugged and unit is
running on reserve power (only static air support
will be provided).
• The CPR quick release lever has been activated and
will deflate cushions and bladders, level and lower
the patient surface.
• Head of unit has been raised over 35° angle during
rotation. Rotation has been deactivated. Displays
previous state of pulsation.
• A side rail has been lowered during rotation.
Rotation has been deactivated. Displays previous
state of pulsation.
