Scale Menu
Use the
Scale
menu to
:
•
View current patient weight.
•
Store and view the date, time and weight value of the initial weight reading and the four most
recent weight readings in a weight trend chart.
It is recommended that the patient be weighed in a level position.
Scales / patient weights are for reference only. Scale readings should not be relied upon for
medication dosage.
• Press
Scale
button on main control panel, shown at
right. The
Scale
menu shown above will appear.
Rotation, pulsation and percussion will be deactivated when the
Scale
menu is displayed and during
all scale functions. If rotation was on before
Scale
button was pressed, five beeps will sound and the
Turn Rotation On?
display will appear to prompt the caregiver to reactivate rotation when the
Scale
menu is exited. If pulsation was on before
Scale
button was pressed, it will be restored. If percussion
was on before
Scale
button was pressed, it
will not
be restored. Reactivate percussion from the
Home
menu.
The
Scale
menu can be viewed during the Instaflate feature, seat deflate and head deflate.
Save In Weight Trend
Select save in weight trend to enter the displayed weight value and date of reading into weight trend chart.
1.
With
Scale
menu showing, press
Save In Weight
Trend
button. The display shown at right will appear.
2.
Press
Press To Save Patient Weight
button in weight
trend chart and return to
Scale
menu;
or
3.
Press
Press To Exit
button to return to
Scale
menu,
without entering displayed weight into weight trend
chart.
