11 Application Notes / Troubleshooting
11.1 Cleaning the Equipment
In case of heavy soiling, it has proven to be a good practice to rub the outer surfaces of the
devices with paper towels and spirit. Resin residues, for example, can also be easily removed.
Special attention should be paid to the solar cells, as heavy soiling has a negative effect on
the performance.
11.2 Locked SIM Pin or SIM Card
As with a mobile phone, the SIM card is locked after an incorrect SIM pin has been entered
several times.
In this case, you must unlock the SIM card again
by entering the SIM-PUK and set a new SIM pin.
Proceed as follows:
I.
Turn on the TMSO.CU and connect it to
the TMSO.App on your mobile phone.
II.
Switch from the main menu to the
LTE
window.
III.
Activate the switch
Set new SIM pin
.
IV.
Now enter a new PIN (which you should of
course make a note of!) and the PUK of
your SIM card in the input fields that
appear (
new SIM pin
and
PUK).
NOTE!
As a new SIM pin, you can usually also
reuse your previous one.
V.
Then click on the
SET NEW SIM PIN
button.
If you also enter the PUK incorrectly several
times, the SIM card will be completely blocked
and can only be unblocked again via your
provider, or you will need a new SIM card.
