7.5 Switching on the Devices
All devices are switched on with the
TMS.Magnetic pen (blunt end with the magnet).
For the TMSO.IM, touch the device with the
magnetic pen at the recess in the housing:
Hold the magnetic pen there until the status
LED lights up (approx. 1 second) and then
remove it again.
The device is ready for operation as soon as the
status LED starts flashing. It is now in standby
mode with activated radio, ready for a
connection to the TMSO.CU.
CAUTION!
The TMSO.IM will automatically switch off after 15 minutes if no messages are received from
the TMSO.CU!
For the TMSO.CU, first open the housing cover by inserting the screwdriver blade at the rear
end of the magnetic pin into one of the two small openings and lever the snap lock open with
a movement towards the center of the cover.
Now use the magnetic pen to touch the mark with
the
SWITCH
label on the front panel of the device:
Hold the magnetic pen there until the charging and
MEAS LED
light up (approx. 1 second) and then
remove it again.
The unit is ready for operation as soon as the
MEAS-LED
turns off again and the
CON-LED
starts
flashing. It is now in standby mode and with BLE
enabled, ready to connect to your mobile phone.
CAUTION!
The TMSO.CU automatically switches itself off after
5 minutes if it does not receive any messages from
the user's mobile phone!
