III.
You want to monitor a distributed group of trees in an urban environment:
outlines the local conditions:
The trees are shielded from wind by the surrounding buildings in different directions. A
gust coming from the north will probably hit the right group of trees only slightly or not
at all. The group on the left, on the other hand, will not only be hit by the same gust but
will probably experience a significantly increased wind speed due to the tunnel effect
between the houses. The single tree No. 20, on the other hand, cannot be assigned to
either group and is therefore monitored individually. However, it is convenient to serve
as a position for the TMSO.CU, as from here there is a clear line of sight to all other
trees. Therefore, the control unit is attached to this tree and used as a control sensor
at the same time. It is important to note that the central unit can work as a control sensor
in cluster 1 only.
