GEN:SIGN?{ [chnl(1-6), harm(1-100)] }
Request for the harmonic content in defined channel. The first parameter is the channel (1-6), the
second one is the harmonic number (1-
100). Return string is in form “act, amp, ph” (for example
"1,85,60") where: act is activity (1=active, 0=not active), amp is amplitude (0-100%) and ph is phase
(0-360 deg).
If both parameters omitted and no more than 5 harmonics are activated then device returns
abbreviated overall harmonic content of all 6 channels in the form (max. 5 tokens):
“chnl, harm, amp, ph; chnl, harm, amp, ph …" where: chnl is decimal word (0-63) with binary coding
of channels (sum of set bits: U

), harm is harmonic number (1-
100), amp is amplitude (0-100%) and ph is phase (0-360 deg).
For example answer “63,1,100,0;42,3,40,60“ means that beside first basic harmonic in all channels
third harmonic with 40% amplitude and 60 deg phase shift is set in all current channels (2, 4 & 6).
GEN:SIGN
{ chnl(1-6), harm(1-100), active(0|1) [,amplitude|NC [,phase|NC [,generate(ON|OFF) ]]]] }
Individual channels signal values setting. The first parameter gives the channel (1-6), the second one
is the harmonic number (1-100), third is activity (0|1) and the rest ones are optional: amplitude (if not
used than the string NC), phase (if not used than the string NC) and last one may immediately start
generation (if ON).
GEN:SIGN:DEF
{ [chnl(1-6)] }
Setting of harmonic content of signal in given channel (or all channels if parameter omitted) to default
= only first basic harmonic is on.
GEN:EXT:RAT?
{ [chnl(1-6)] }
Request for value of external ratio parameter for given channel (or all 6 channels if parameter
omitted). Answer is 1 number or 6 comma separated numbers with the meaning of value of external
ratio.
GEN:EXT:RAT
{ chnl(1-6), factor }
Setting of external ratio parameter for given channel.
External ratio is hidden multiplication correction factor used for correction of output amplitude every
time when it is calculated. Default value (no correction) is 1. External ratio factor is hidden, that means
that user don’t see it’s usage on device’s display.
For example when external ratio is 2, then every time when user sets amplitude 40A then real output
will be 80A but on display (and in remote commands) will device give 40A.
GEN:CONN:TYP
{<connection>}
Setting the connection type of generator.
Parameter can be: 0
… 3P4W, 1 … 3P3W, 2 … 2P3W, 3 … 1P3W, 4 … 1P2W
(in special device versions also 5 … 1P3W_JAP)
GEN:CONN:TYP?
Request for the connection type of generator.
SYST:HARM
{
type
(0|1) }
Setting of the type of harmonics normalization.
Parameter
type
can be 0 (=“ALL HARMONICS”) or 1 (=“1
st
HARMONIC”).
SYST:HARM?
Request for type of the harmonics normalization.
Answer is 0 (=“ALL HARMONICS”) or 1 (=“1
st
HARMONIC”)
