GEN:CONT:CURR:STAR

Start of current generation with the value of amplitude set in the Generator menu or send by
command GEN:EFF{ chnl(1-6), eff_value }.
Optional parameter
method
specifies transition method: 0 (=default), 1 (=immediate) or 2(=soft
generate). Default transition method (parameter not used or used with value 0) is defined in menu -
Soft Generate ON or OFF.

chnl
specifies current channel in which generation will be started.
GEN:CONT:CURR:STOP { [method(0-2) [, chnl(1-3)]] }
Stopping of current generation, while voltage remains generated. Optional parameter

GEN:RCS:STAR
Start of sending Ripple Telegram.
GEN:RCS:STAR?
Request of the state of sending the Ripple Telegram. Possible answers are: -1
– Ripple Control
feature not detected, 0
– transmission not active, 1 – Start bit is being transmitted, 2 – any Data bit is
being
transmitted,
3
– any gap between bits is being transmitted.
GEN:RCS:STOP
Cease sending Ripple Telegram.
GEN:RCS:STAT?
Request of the number of bits already transferred during transmission.
GEN:RCS:FREQ?
Request of the modulation frequency. Answer is real number.
GEN:RCS:FREQ

Setting the modulation frequency. Parameter is a real number from limits: 100Hz up to 3 kHz.
GEN:RCS:CHAN?
Request of the mask of voltage channels dedicated for Ripple Control (telegram transmission).
Answer is a number from interval 1
– 7 with the following meaning:
1- U1
2- U2
3- U1 + U2
4- U3
5- U1 + U3
6- U2 + U3
7- U1 + U2 + U3
GEN:RCS:CHAN

Setting the mask of voltage channels dedicated for Ripple Control (telegram transmission). Parameter
is a number from interval 1
– 7 with the same meaning like in requesting command.
GEN:RCS:AMP?
Request of the modulation amplitude of specific voltage channel(s) stated in %. Minimum is 0.0% and
maximum is 20%.
